Nathan Nowack Photography has Rebranded

As much as I loved my first photography logo, 2011 is all about change.  The new studio, the new ventures, and of course more work has come in that is not just wedding related.  So with all my weddings, portraits, commercial, corporate headshots, travel, and other types of photography continuing, I felt this new logo will hold them all together with both a warm but yet professional feel.

On top of it being a cool looking symbol, it also has meaning to me beyond just a logo.  This is actually a Japanese Mon, or emblem.  This particular one is actually my wife’s family Mon.  It is referred to as a Mitsudomoe, or what most might refer to as 3 commas, or Tomoe.  I searched for logos and shapes for days.  I thought about my name and what it means to me and to others.  But in the end, the simplest answer is somethings staring you in the face.  So I added this Japanese Mon to my business logo as I want the Photography to be my focus, not my name.  With this union of symbols, my wife can now share some ownership in my business, as she is a huge part of my life just as my last name has become part of hers.

Thank you to all who gave me feedback and who have followed my old heart symbol up until today.  The company is stronger then ever and I’m very optomistic about it’s future.  I’ve met some amazing couples over the years and I couldn’t have done any of this without you.  Along with my new photographer colleagues and my amazing supportive wife Allison, I’m more happy then I’ve ever been.  Thank you to everyone and I hope the best to you all.
