As many of you know, 2 months ago I won a contest that put my photo on the cover of the 40,000 circulated Korean American Journal. I was very happy with this achievement and proud to have such great supporters. With that appreciation from everyone’s help and support, I also had a little magazine release party. Thank you to all who made it and thank you to all who voted for me. I sent a bunch of copies out to friends and family, but still have plenty more. There were no details on how many artists entered, but the 3 finalists were Christina Mijung Lee, Josephine Park, and myself. Please see the below scanned pages for the pages and submissions. All entries were excellent and I’m glad everyone got some magazine coverage.
We held the party at Joey’s Smokin’ BBQ in Torrance and had a great time. My star models Natalie and Ethan were there to sign autographs and be little stars. At one point, their 7 year old cousin Kasey told me to “back off paparazzi” as I took some more photos of them in action. It was a great little gathering and fun to get everyone together.
