Kollaboration Star is the combination of the best of the best. Performances from all over the country met on November 16, 2012 and competed for the first place prize of $2000 and a trip to Hong Kong to the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) and perform on the red carpet. It was an amazing show and an amazing year for all the performers who attended from cities like Seattle, Boston, Chicago, Washington DC, Dallas, Honolulu, Houston, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, and Tulsa.
They sung, they danced, and performers got to experience what it’s like to be on a recorded television show and perform to a live audience of thousands. The talent showed strongly as this was definitely a battle for the title of Kollaboration Star from all over the country, but in the end, the guitar player from Honolulu took the win home as Mike Izon’s parents even watched from the crowd. Tears of joy and excitement made it a memorable night for many!!
Jun Sung Ahn, Kavi Vu, Maybe Refuge, G Yamazawa, Nate Tao, Mike Izon, and Ariel Yang all had amazing performances and again congratulations to them all.
