With my recent trip to Las Vegas and the WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) Convention, I was on the hunt for new knowledge and expansion. My wedding calender has been getting more and more booked up, so I decided to purchase a new and completely separate website to showcase my work for future clients. WPPI had tons of vendors from remote control helicopters with cameras to flash websites to 50 million album options to even glowing LCD frames. It was great, I was like a kid in a candy store.
Not only did I do some research, but I wanted to check a lot of different companies to find the best one and the most economical for me at the moment. I believe I would like a big flashy site someday, but I can be patient. In the end, it’s the photos that matter and the way you can get along with the brides and grooms that make it a perfect connection. In the end, I decided to go with Photobiz.com and get my new website up as soon as possible. They were very friendly, easy to talk to, and had nice options to select from.
Shortly after I got home to LA, I bought a new URL, redesigned my logo a little, and ordered new business cards.
