Blog Contest Winner – Family Portraits with the Perry Family

Last year I held a contest to see how many people were actually visiting my blog.  So with anyone who left a comment within a few weeks, I entered them into my contest.  Then I randomly drew a name and that person or family got a 2 hour session with me at a location of their choice.

Well with the holidays approaching quicker then we expected last year, we finally got around to getting our session done this last week.  Leslie and Brian are actually good friends of mine from my little hometown of Bartlesville, Oklahoma.  We all went to high school together.  It just so happened that Brian got a job out here in LA a few years back and they moved here permanently with their two daughters.  Leslie has been a big supporter of my photography and blog, and I really apprecited every blog comment and facebook “like” she’s done.  It was an honor to have them win and to be able to capture them recently at UCLA.  With their daughters Maddie and Megan, we ran around UCLA for 2 hours and had a great time.  Fountains, grassy knolls, and park benches were our backdrops and even managed to get a few awesome headshots of Brian and Leslie.  You’d think they were professional models, as they must have been practicing their “blue steele.”

Congratulations again and thank you all for your continued support.  Cheers!
