What an awesome group of students wanting to learn about the amazing industry that is Wedding Photography. On October 8, 2014, 8 students came to my studio in Downtown Fullerton to listen to my 3 hour presentation about business, social media, networking, SEO, software, workflow and more. We touched on a little bit of every subject, hoping to share information about how to better market your existing photography business, to how to even start a photography business. I showed examples of styles, branding, and different types of basic photography concepts. We had a lot of great questions and answers, and a few moments to talk about each photographers businesses and goals.
After a nice lunch downstairs at the Tranquil Tea Lounge, we headed out to Orange, CA for the styled shoot with Sarah and Tanner. Our awesome models were getting their hair and makeup by Posh OC Makeup and Hair in Irvine. Our amazing portrait session venue was the Vintage Rose, a stylish french chic wedding venue in Orange County that has an amazing feel to it. With cupcakes setup from Hapa Cupcakes in Fullerton and beautiful floral arrangements by Milieu Florals, we had an amazing time capturing all the beauty that was around us. Sarah was wearing an awesome dress purchased at Morning Lavender and wearing a flower for a while and then a hair accessory by Tessa Kim. All of this couldn’t have been done without the collaboration from all the vendors and I thank them all again.
